  • Red or rosé wine

How to prepare party meat

  1. To prepare this recipe, you only need a few steps to enjoy a delicious dish.
  2. On a board we are going to degrease the pork meat to achieve a very tender finish.
  3. In a mortar or grinder, add the salt, cumin, and garlic cloves without the peel, and crush until you get a paste. Add the oil, emulsify with the mixture, and add to the meat.
  4. Add half a glass of wine and the dried herbs to the meat mixture. We will try to cover the meat completely with the marinade. Let it rest for 2 to 10 hours. We recommend leaving it overnight.
  5. We fry the meat in a deep frying pan to prevent it from spluttering and remove it into a clean bowl.
  6. We add the remaining marinade to the oil and stir to make it spice. and turns into a delicious sauce.
  7. We fry some nice potatoes and present our dish by sprinkling parsley and a little sweet paprika on them.And now we have our Canarian-style party meat, a delicious recipe that will delight the palates of all diners.
  8. Transfer it to a pot, add all the marinade and let it cook for fifteen or twenty minutes until the sauce thickens.

Serve on a platter with some French fries and chopped parsley. Here on our islands, it is also served as skewers or brochettes, with hardly any sauce.
