Ingredients

  • Half a kilo of dulce de leche
  • 2 packages of digestive biscuits
  • 70 grams butter
  • Milk
  • 200 milliliters of whipping cream
  • 2 packages of Moya biscuits or sighs

How to prepare Uruguayan Polvito

  1. The first thing we are going to need is to crush the cookies and mix them with the butter to create a consistent dough that can serve as a base.
  2. Then we will whip the cream, always cold. We will know that it is ready when it has a meringue texture.
  3. We put the crushed cookies in the base of our container and add a light layer of dulce de leche.
  4. On top of it we put a layer of cream and then another layer of dulce de leche.
  5. We finish with the rest of the cream and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.
  6. We crush the sighs into irregular pieces and spread them over the entire surface of the dessert.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes and it will be ready to serve.
